Client need a seasoned Hands-on Guidewire Policy Center Developer (True Hands-on Developer), working with On-Prem version – Guidewire 10. Must have Core Java /J2EE Enterprise (Spring Boot, Webservices, and Rest Services) Strong experience with SQL Entities (They will ask questions about this during the interview) Project efforts will be focused on Configuration (Product Model, Ratings, Forms) and Integration (With third party vendors or into other guidewire suites Billing & Claims)

Responsibilities

Design, Develop and maintain Java and Guidewire based systems. Strong Guidewire Policy Center experience is required.

Work with a team of engineers to deliver high-quality software.

Stay up to date on the latest trends in Enterprise level frameworks and platforms.

Will be responsible for researching and fact-finding to develop or modify information systems and system integrations.

Assisting in defining best practices, defining standards, developing code libraries and Proof of Concepts.

Preparing Detailed Specifications or Design from which programs will be written.

Code/configure, unit test, review code, debug, document, and maintain complex software applications, in an environment that continuously introduces leading-edge technologies.

This position may be required to lead a medium sized development team and mentor other less experienced developers.

 

Required Skills:

Strong experience in Guidewire, Java, RESTful APIs, Web services and J2EE development.
